The CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science, and Technology is pleased to announce our Summer 2018 Internship Opportunities: https://www2.calstate.edu/impact-of-the-csu/research/coast/funding/Pages/Summer-2018-Announcement-and-Application.aspx.
We have 15 internship positions open this summer ranging from working with Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to culturing of abalone to helping a national marine sanctuary explore connections to National Forests. We have new hosts who have joined the program in addition to returning hosts who have offered incredibly rewarding internships in previous years. Students from a broad diversity of backgrounds, such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geology, Resource Management and Policy, and more, are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is Monday, March 5, 2018, 5:00 pm PST. Please read the General Eligibility Requirements and Application Materials and Procedures sections carefully so you understand each section thoroughly. You can read more about the internship program and see lists of past interns and pictures of interns from previous years at https://www2.calstate.edu/impact-of-the-csu/research/coast/funding/Pages/student-funding.aspx#studentIntern. We will host a webinar on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 12:00-1:00 pm where you can hear all about these internship opportunities and have the opportunity to ask questions. RSVP for the webinar here.
